After an excellent performance last year, Tecnitainer start 2019 amidst an expansion process. The new shed for periodic testing has been concluded. The area is next to repair workshop.
The fully covered area offers safety for testing, increasing service’s capacity and agility.
It’s worth of mention that Tecnitainer also has a Tank School. A pioneer initiative in Brazil, this facility allows to perform test and simulate all defects that might occour in a tank, thus facilitating identification and also imperfection’s correction. The project was designed within a tank itself, which received a lateral opening to facilitate teams access.
Balance
Despite huge movement growth, Tecnitainer was able to perfectly fulfill 2018 schedule, achieving an excellent performance. To reach the outlined goals, the company invested in structure, equipment, skilled professionals and logistics.
With 14,000 m², Terminal 2 was inaugurated in second half of the year.
Along with company’s head quarter, Tecnitainer now helds 24,000 m². “The expansion helped with tank storage, since it’s almost tripled our inventory capacity,” explains general manager Ronaldo Rodrigues.
The company also invested in a truck acquisition, thus increasing logistic. “ISOtanks are always delivered to our headquarter. The vehicle serves, when necessary, to transfer tanks from one terminal to another.
According to Rodrigues, the needed implementation of second shift also helped to meet the goals, facilitating and streamlining the processes performed in the terminal. “It’s also worth to mention our certification renewal by Inmetro. We also carried out all required training along the year, constantly qualifying professionals who work at Tecnitainer.”
Tecnitainer’s main director, Claudio Ezio Ioselli Junior, points out that constant practices improvement has already become a company’s trademark.
“Our daily concern is to better serve our customers. Managers keep studying our market and its trends. We have a strict commitment to quality, that’s why we’ve been able to identify situations and, with investment and strategic work we’re constantly growing.”
